Hilary Palmer
Hilary’s passion for dance started at the age of three when she began dancing at Stage Door of Performing Arts. During her 15 years at Stage Door, Hilary was molded into an accomplished dancer. She studied jazz, ballet, lyrical, and her personal favorite, tap. Hilary has experienced tap as a soloist, small group dancer, ensemble member, ensemble leader, and teacher. She has furthered her tap education by attending the LA Tap Fest and Tap into the Network workshops and has performed in shows around the Twin Cities such as Fringe Festival and Rhythmically Speaking.
Hilary recently graduated from St. John’s University in Queens, NY with a degree in Public Relations and Business Administration. While in New York, Hilary served as captain of the Red Storm Dance Team, which provided her with many incredible opportunities. Focusing mainly on hip-hop and jazz, Hilary performed regularly at venues such as Madison Square Garden and the Barclays Center. She has also been featured on the Dan Patrick Show, the TODAY Show, and in Dance Spirit Magazine.
Although Hilary’s time in New York was an amazing period of growth and opportunity, she is excited to return to her roots in the Minnesota dance community. Hilary cannot wait to show aspiring dancers how fun and rewarding tap can truly be. We are truly honored to have a performer of Hilary's caliber join The Dance Complex!
